13 Sep Mobile Gaming Square Enix Launches Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince On Android September 13, 2024 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Square Enix has brought back the Dragon Quest Monsters series on mobile with Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. The game already launched for Nintendo Switch in December 2023. This is the seventh game in the series, in case you haven’t been keeping the count. Who Is The Dark Prince In Dragon Quest Monsters? You play as Psaro, a young man cursed by his father, the Master of Monsterkind. The curse makes him unable to harm any monster creature. To break the curse, Psaro sets out to become a Monster Wrangler. He teams up with monsters to rise through the ranks and become the Master of Monsterkind. If you’re familiar with Dragon Quest IV, you’ll recognize Psaro as the antagonist. But this time, we see his side of the story. The game takes place in Nadiria, a magical world where changing seasons and dynamic weather play a big role in how you progress. You’ll recruit monsters from over 500 unique creatures, train them and even combine them to create even stronger allies. Different monsters come out depending on the weather, so there’s always something new to discover as you explore. The variety of monsters is huge, from cute little critters to big, weird creatures. Why don’t you take a peek at what Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince looks like? Will You Try It Out? The game looks exciting. You’ll also get access to the Mole Hole, Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym and Treasure Trunks. These are actually the DLC from the console version and offer special features to enhance your monster-wrangling journey. There’s also a Quickfire Contest mode where you can pit your monsters against other players’ teams. It lets you earn stat-boosting items daily and grow your roster by beating other players’ teams.
