Lexip partners with Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed peripheral range

European gaming hardware brand Lexip is set to launch a range of peripherals co-designed with Ubisoft and themed around Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, the latest instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

The range includes a headset and a headset stand, a keyboard, a mouse, a mousepad and a controller. The products will be available on September 15th through the brand’s online store.

Lexip is a gaming peripherals brand owned by French company Pixminds Group, which produces PC and console peripherals such as mice and keyboards, headsets, console and PC controllers, as well as mousepads, Nintendo Switch controllers and chairs. The brand is one of the few European peripheral manufacturers that creates high-end products and has received dozens of awards for its products.

The new lineup of products focuses on Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, the latest game in the Ubisoft-created franchise set to launch in November. Supporting the feudal Japan theme, the peripherals all feature samurai-inspired motives and are finished in white with splashes of red and black. The company noted that the products feature “ceramic and zinc” in their build, which should create a premium feel.

The new headset is a wireless model with 50mm drivers, Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz connectivity and a 1000mAh battery. The mouse features Lexip’s trademark thumb joystick and is a wired model with a 500Hz polling rate and 12000 DPI, as well as RGB lighting. The keyboard is perhaps one of the most striking items in the collection, featuring painted keycaps that serve as a canvas for a Japan-inspired theme.

In addition to the products, Ubisoft and Lexip have announced a series of bundles including products and the full Assassin’s Creed: Shadows game. There is a total of six bundles of products ranging from €140 to €350.
