If you’re into epic strategy games and love controlling empires while blowing things up with cannons, you’ll love to hear this news. Feral Interactive is cooking Total War: Empire for Android! It’s making its way to mobile later this year.

The classic 18th-century strategy game from Creative Assembly is getting a mobile makeover. If you loved playing Total War: Rome or Medieval II, you’ll probably like this next big adventure.

What’s The Game About?

It’s the age of exploration, revolution and conquest. You lead one of eleven European factions and try to dominate the world map that stretches across Europe, India and the Americas.

Apart from marching your armies all over the place, the game tasks you with something else as well. Keep your own house in order while trying to expand your influence across continents. You’ll be juggling diplomacy, military strategy and a bit of luck.

In the game, you’ll command real-time battles. The big change for Total War: Empire on Android is that you’ll also get naval battles! Yep, you can send out your fleets to protect your trade routes and even snag some overseas territories.

When Is Total War: Empire Coming To Android?

We don’t have the exact release date or pricing yet, but Feral has announced that it’s coming in Autumn/Fall 2024. If Feral’s past mobile hits like Alien: Isolation or Hitman: Blood Money are anything to go by, this one’s going to be worth the wait.
