English professional football club Manchester City has revealed its new esports jersey in collaboration with clothing brand PUMA.

The new 2024/25 esports jersey will feature holographic details and a print inspired by Manchester’s 0161 dialling code. This code is also printed inside the neckline of Man City’s home kit.

The regular-fit jersey also includes Man City Esports’ sponsor E& (Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC) on the front. The UAE state-owned telecommunications company will be the jersey sponsor for the third consecutive season.

According to a release, the jersey will be accompanied by an official Man City Esports jacket. Moreover, the jerseys can be personalised with the names of the club’s esports stars. The new kit is expected to debut at the Fortnite Global Championships this week in Texas by its players Joshua ‘Cold’ Butler, Iwo ‘Setty’ Zając and Aidan ‘Threats’ Mong.

Founded in 2016, Manchester City’s esports division has experienced significant growth in recent years. Its esports roster boasts the presence of EA FC players and ePremier League champions Donovan ‘Tekkz’ Hunt and Matías ‘Bonanno’ Bonanno. The duo also competed in the FC Pro 24 World Championship in Berlin back in July.

Manchester City’s esports efforts also include a range of fan-focused activations. Last month, the football club made headlines when it announced the extension of the collaboration with multinational esports organisation Gen.G, with the two joining forces on various activations ahead of the League of Legends World Championships. Back in 2022, Manchester City also partnered with FaZe Clan to create a pop-up event in their stadium.
