28 Aug eSport Tundra Esports announces Ethlas as Web3 partner August 28, 2024 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment British esports organisation Tundra Esports has announced a partnership with Web3 company Ethlas, resulting in the latter becoming its official Web3 partner. The partnership will be focused on Gambit Finance, a new gaming-focused trading platform developed by Ethlas, and will be connected to The International, Dota 2’s biggest event. Interestingly, this is not the first time Tundra Esports has announced a partnership specifically agreed on for the duration of The International. The organisation did the same thing last year, inking deals with whiskey brand Ballantine’s and monitor brand ViewSonic just a short time ahead of the tournament. This time around, Tundra will work with Ethlas to promote its gamer-focused platform Gambit, with Ethlas offering a $100,000 (~£75,800) prize pot for interested traders around the world. The Gambit Finance platform rewards players for their in-game performance, allowing them to earn real-world rewards and money by competing in games. Maxim Demin, Owner & Co-Managing Director of Tundra Esports, commented on the deal: “We are excited to embark on this journey with Ethlas. At Tundra we are constantly looking for new ways to engage with our audience in an authentic and meaningful way, and we hope that this partnership will unlock new opportunities for every Tundra fan around the globe. Please welcome Ethlas as our new Official Partner!” This is the first Web3 partnership for Tundra Esports, a team known for winning The International in 2022 after beating Team Secret. This is also the first major esports partnership for Ethlas, a well-known Web3 company. Ivan comes from Croatia, loves weird simulator games, and is terrible at playing anything else.
