If you want to get playing, head over to Pressure on Roblox. If you’d like some more horror guides, try how to play That’s Not My Blocky Neighbor.

How To Play Pressure – A Beginner’s Guide

You begin Pressure as an inmate in a high-security prison who signs up for a rather suspicious job offer from the Urbanshade Corporation. Descend into one of their abandoned facilities to retrieve a special crystal. If you’re successful, you get pardoned for your crimes and leave with enough cash to build a new future for yourself.

What could possibly go wrong?

Don’t answer that, we’re about to find out firsthand.

Getting Started

The first thing you need to do is follow the painted lines to the right sized sub for your party. That depends on if you’re playing with friends, looking for other random players to keep you company, or braving the horrors alone.

The sub should drop you off at the dock of the Urbanshade Hadal Division facility.

Navigating The Facility

Your mission is to head through the different rooms in the facility, advancing toward the crystal, and pick up any classified items Urbansahde wants to shred along the way.

You can interact with drawers and lockers to check inside. The double lockers are also a useful hiding place if you find yourself in danger… though make sure you take a look through the grate first to make sure it’s not already occupied.

Doors that just have handles should open when you approach. Sometimes you will need a keycard to open a door. You can also use a Code Breacher to bypass the lock, though that will use the item up.

Death

You’ll nearly undoubtedly die at some point. When you do, you’ll meet Sebastian, a friendly fellow who will sell you some items from the money your earned, and show you some information on the thing that got you.

The more times it gets you, the more information it reveals.

However, in the interest of helping you through your early runs, let’s go over some of the dangers you might run into.

Monsters

Here are a few of the monsters you may run into as you get to grips with how to play Pressure. This covers some of the common ones and isn’t yet a comprehensive list.

Eyefestation

A large shark-like creature with a cluster of many luminous green eyes covering its head. When near a player it will try and force them to look into its eyes. Looking directly into its eyes causes you to lose health.

  • Signs Of Activity: The Eyefestation may appear in any room with a window into the water that does not have a sea mine. It is easy to spot due to its glowing eyes.
  • Strategy: Avoid using the Flash Beacon, this will only anger the creature. Do your best to break the line of sight and avoid your gaze getting pulled towards the creature.

Angler

Resembles a huge, mutated anglerfish. It charges down hallways and instantly kills anyone it hits.

  • Signs Of Activity: Flickering lights indicate an Angler close by.
  • Strategy: If you see the lights flicker, head toward the nearest locker ASAP and jump inside.

Squiddles

A dark, floating shape with tentacles and white features. They will leap at the player and inflict damage.

  • Signs Of Activity: Squiddles spawn in dark rooms and can be spotted by their white faces.
  • Strategy: Avoid shining a light on the Squiddle, and avoid getting too close to it. It will not attack unprovoked.

Void Mass

A slimy black pool of ooze with glowing eyes. It hides inside lockers and will drag players in when they open the locker.

  • Signs Of Activity: Strange noises coming from lockers, eyes, and glowing features visible through the gaps in the locker door.
  • Strategy: Avoid any infected lockers. If you are in a multiplayer game, you can save players trapped inside if you act quickly to pull them out.

Good People

Entities that lurk behind false doors and attempt to lure you off the correct path… and eat you.

  • Signs Of Activity: Two doors with the same number.
  • Strategy: If you’re presented with two doors, then listen closely next to each. The false one should have some strange noises coming from inside. Use the other door.
