Indian media company AFK Gaming has launched AFK Gaming Insights, an esports analytics dashboard for India.

The dashboard aims to provide Indian esports stakeholders with insight into the country’s state of the industry.

The analytics dashboard aims to enable stakeholders to make ‘informed decisions’ regarding partnership opportunities, social media followings and tournaments taking place in India. AFK Gaming Insights will be available to those who subscribe annually to the service.

According to a release, AFK Gaming Insights acts as ‘an entry point’ for those new to the esports industry. Alongside analytics on tournaments, users and social media, the dashboard can be used to look at player performance and the latest industry trends.

AFK Gaming has been involved in gaming and esports industries since 2012, running projects ranging from news coverage to B2B services. In February 2024, the company launched Max Level, a marketing and public relations (PR) vertical created to assist brands looking to utilise gaming and esports audiences.

Esports stakeholders continue to use analytics platforms for better insight into areas such as event viewership, coaching and sponsorship performance. In recent months, German analytics company Shikenso Analytics has expanded its portfolio to include a range of partners including ALDI France and Complexity.

Nishant Patel, Co-founder and CEO of AFK Gaming, spoke on the launch: “AFK Gaming Insights is a product built to address a critical market need.

“With this launch, we hope to empower tournament organizers, brand managers, team owners and industry observers with a single source of truth that they can turn to for industry knowledge and information that will drive the sector’s growth as a whole.”
