Tournament spotlight: 1win Dota 2 Series Summer reveals talent line-up and schedule

Esports bookmaker 1win has revealed its broadcast line-up for its recently announced $100,000 (~78,000) tournament, 1win Dota 2 Series Summer.

The second edition of the 1Win Dota 2 Series, set to take place online from June 27th-30th, will be broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube

Across the four-day event, six casters and analysts will be rotated throughout, including Australian caster Lachlan ‘Ares’ Williams and analyst Matt ‘Danog’ Joyce.

1win has also announced that Robbie ‘Robbnroll’ Blakeman and Luke ‘Fluke’ Pate will host the Dota 2 series.

1Win Dota 2 Series Summer will kick off on June 27th with Group A action, which features  Virtus.pro, Gaimin Gladiators, 1win and PSG.Quest.

The group stage will commence at 1pm CET (12pm BST) with Gamin Gladiators taking on PSG.Quest in a best-of-one matchup. The group will conclude on the same day with a best-of-three series starting at 6pm CET (5pm BST).

Group B, which includes Entity, beastcoast, Team Spirit and Nigma will start at 2pm CET (1pm BST) on June 28th.

The full broadcast talent list includes:

  • Matt ‘Danog’ Joyce
  • Gustavo ‘Bowie’ Mattos
  • Tim ‘DKtruman’ de Lange

  • Luke ‘Fluke’ Pate

Alongside an English broadcast, the 1win Dota 2 Series will have CIS-language streams on Twitch and YouTube. These broadcasts will also be helmed by CIS Dota 2 broadcast talent. 

1win has also revealed that the series will reward organisations that make it into the top four. The $100,000 prize pool will be split in the following ways:

  • 1st: $50,000
  • 2nd: $30,000
  • 3rd: $15,000
  • 4th: $5,000
