As the main partner and exclusive gaming monitor provider LG UltraGear will equip all necessary Esports World Cup tournaments with monitors. According to a release, LG UltraGear will be providing over 990 monitors for the event, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with LG UltraGear’s OLED gaming monitor (model 32GS95UE) being showcased at the event. Alongside providing monitors, LG UltraGear and Esports World Cup will also be engaging fans through interactive booths and demonstrations at the festival. The LG booth will allow fans to test out the same UltraGear gaming monitors that are being used by the players competing at the Esports World Cup. The LG booth will also see fans participating in coaching sessions run by the LG-sponsored Gen.G Global Academy where they could potentially win prizes by playing in competitions and events. The Esports World Cup Foundation, the organisers of the Esports World Cup, is backed by the Saudi Arabian government. As such, the multi-title event has faced criticism from teams and the community over Saudi Arabia’s human rights record. Mohammed Al Nimer, Sales Director at the Esports World Cup Foundation, commented: “We are thrilled to have LG UltraGear, a pioneer in gaming technology, as a Main Partner of the Esports World Cup. “The EWC is the ultimate platform for brands like LG UltraGear™ to connect with a passionate and expanding audience at the heart of competitive gaming. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to creating meaningful collaborations that enrich the fan experience.” Dafydd Gwynn Source link Facebook Twitter Google Email Pinterest
