Akatsuki has previously worked on hit titles like Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle and Romancing SaGa Re;Universe. For the upcoming game based on Kaiju No 8, they’ve joined hands with TOHO and Production I.G. It’ll be available for both mobile and PC players. On mobile, it will be a free-to-play game with in-game purchases. It’ll have 3D graphics and multi-device compatibility. They don’t have a release date yet for the Kaiju No 8 game. But they did drop a juicy trailer giving us subtle hints of how the game might turn out to be. He dreams of joining the Japan Defense Force to fight kaiju alongside his childhood friend Mina. But while Mina’s out there as the Third Division captain, Kafka’s stuck cleaning up after battles. That all changes when a new rule makes him eligible to join the Defense Force. And he also gets on their neutralization list as Kaiju No. 8.
