What Is The Case Of The Golden Idol?

The game drops you into an 18th-century narrative that spans a gripping 40-year timeline. You switch between exploring intricate crime scenes and, in true detective style, piecing it all together in your head. Gather evidence and solve the puzzles to unravel an overarching story.

Every scene in The Case of the Golden Idol is a moment frozen in time, with looped animations. It’s super rewarding once you solve each chapter. You can expect many classic references to everything in the game. British imperialism, for instance.

There are eleven cases which you need to solve. You can tackle each chapter in two gameplay modes: Exploring and Thinking.
