Apocalyptic Pixelart Survival Sim Ashworld is Discounted by $2 on Android

Ashworld, the post-apocalyptic pixel-art open-world survival game from OrangePixel, is currently discounted by $2 on the Google Play Store. You can pick it up for $2.49, down from its usual price of $4.49.

Originally released in 2017, Ashworld is a Mad Max-esque affair that sees you roaming around a barren wasteland environment on foot or in a car. During the day you’ll encounter brutal scavengers, and at night you’ll meet zombies. Either way, shooting in the face is generally called for. There’s crafting, too.

Interestingly, Ashworld doesn’t confine itself to top-down open-world exploration. Whenever you enter a building you get to play a traditional side-scrolling platformer affair.

It’s not perfect, but Ashworld is a solid genre-mash-up with plenty of Orangepixel charm. If you were considering it at $4.49, this is your time to strike.
