There’s a Japan-Only Fist of the North Star ARPG in the Works Called Shin Hokuto Musuo Mobile

Developer Midas is working on an action-RPG based on the Fist of the North Star franchise. It’s called Shin Hokuto Musuo Mobile, and it’s due out later this year – but only in Japan.

Published by Koei Tecmo, Shin Hokuto Musuo Mobile will be restricted to owners of Android phones with 2GB RAM or more. If you’re not up on your mobile tech, don’t worry – that’s not particularly powerful.

Otherwise, details are scarce on Shin Hokuto Musuo Mobile, so we’ll have to go on the screenshots.

In one, a man is kicking some other men so hard that his foot has left a trail of bright light, and caused several small explosions in the vicinity. It’s also evident that the man is capable of connecting with around ten victims – there’s no other word – with a single sweep of his leg, though it’s difficult to be sure of the precise number because some of the men appear to be visual traces created by the sheer velocity of their movement through the air.

In another screenshot, the same man is using his fist with similar results. More news as we get it.
