Prior to joining IGN in October 2018, he worked in programming and development for the likes of Machinima, CraveOnline, Group Nine Media, Jukin Media, and Discovery Digital Networks.

Azevedo joins the likes of Mike Aransky, Gabriel Ruiz, Robert Rogers, Jeremy Dempe, Andrew Vong, Ryan Gonzales, Logan Dodson, Sean Finnegan, Ted Hemberger, Alexandra Salamunovich, Christopher Mims, Jessica Cryderman, and Terence Deutsch in 100 Thieves’ content team.

100 Thieves has built up its content efforts in the past couple of years. It’s currently on the third season of The Heist, a docuseries that follows its League of Legends roster, it used to produce a series around its Call of Duty team titled [02100], and has the What’s Not Given series for its LCS Academy side.

Esports Insider says: Azevedo is clearly experienced in what he does, especially in the online entertainment sector, so this seems like a solid hire for 100 Thieves. Over its short lifespan, the organisation has done an impressive job of bringing impressive people over into esports and it’s kept that streak alive here.
