Wallace & Gromit: The Big Fix Up is an AR Mobile Game, Coming This Fall

Wallace & Gromit: The Big Fix Up, an AR mobile game from Aardman, Fictioneers, and a consortium of British companies along with the University of South Wales, is coming this fall.

The game, which is being pitched as a “cutting edge new platform for storytelling”, will be rendered in CG. It will let players interact with Wallace and Gromit in a variety of ways – all through their mobile phone cameras. 

Plotwise, the game sees Wallace and Gromit entering into yet another business venture, called Spick & Spanners, which secures the contract to “Fix Up” Bristol – the UK city where Aardman is based. 

The game will be, “an entirely home-based experience”, available in the UK first before getting a global roll-out.
