Mario Kart Tour 2.1.0 Update Adds Team Game Rule, with Expert Challenges Lined Up for a Future Update

Mario Kart Tour, which recently received proper multiplayer after a long winter of suboptimal asynchronousness, has just been updated to version 2.1.0.

The latest update makes a couple of significant tweaks to the multiplayer functionality. Namely, it adds a new Team Game rule, as well as a Room Code feature, making it easier to play with your friends. 

Nintendo has also revealed some details on future updates. Expert Challenges are in the pipeline, and there’s a new Coins Aplenty event coming up too.

Mario Kart Tour is available for free right now on Google Play, though you can become a Gold Pass subscriber and receive exclusive content if that’s how you want to live your life.
