The activation will be hosted during the League of Legends Season 10 pre-season. Kieran Holmes-Darby, CEO of Excel Esports commented on the partnership in a release: “We are very proud to be announcing Neosurf as our Official Online Payment Partner. We hope to help Neosurf solidify themselves as an endemic payment provider in the esports ecosystem and as a valued service provider to the industry.” Neosurf joins the likes of HyperX, Belong Gaming Arenas Chillblast, and Raven as a partner of Excel Esports. It will be integrated into the organisation’s ecommerce offerings in 2020. We see a great future ahead of us, by helping support such positivity and excellence in this arena.” Neosurf struck a multi-year deal with Esports High Performance Centre in October, subsequently sponsoring Dire Wolves, N8 Esports, Team Oracle, and Supa-Stellar. Esports Insider says: Neosurf’s partnership with EPHC aims to show how non-endemic brands can integrate into the esports ecosystem. Partnering with Excel Esports and choosing to activate the deal through running fan events at Twickenham Stadium appears to be a great way to work towards that goal.
