The partnership will see Team Secret use Mogul’s platform to run a competitive tournament series that caters to amateur and semi-professional players. More details on the tournaments will be revealed in the coming weeks, according to a release.

Mark Warburton, Chief Marketing Officer at Mogul discussed the partnership in a release: “This signifies our ongoing worldwide expansion and reach with a major esports partner and is a key step in broadening our global network. We’re thrilled to be able to collaborate with Team Secret to develop innovative tournaments and memberships that Team Secret fans will want to engage with to get closer to their esports idols.”

Over the next 12 months, tournaments will be hosted by Team Secret using Mogul’s platform. Both cash and products will be available as prize winnings.

John Yao, CEO of Team Secret added: “Team Secret identified an opportunity where we wanted to engage with our community and run community focused tournaments and a value added membership, but we did not have the right platform or partner to do so. Our partnership with Mogul delivers a great solution through their technology, platform and team to solve for this.”

Mogul is also partnered with Alliance and SARENA to give its tournament platform a multi-regional reach, hitting Europe and the Middle East respectively.

Team Secret recently launched its own craft beer, named AFK, with Levante Brewing Company. The India pale ale is being touted as the “world’s very first esports branded alcoholic beverage.”

Esports Insider Says: Enter North America at a grassroots level through a well-respected brand such as Team Secret seems like a decent move. Mogul is positioning itself well and it seems apparent at this point that it has global aspirations.
