06 Oct GameNews Where Is Xur Today? Destiny 2 Exotic Location, Weapon, Armor (October 4-8) October 6, 2019 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment GameSpot may get a commission from retail offers. We’ve finally returned to the moon in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, and we’re already finding a bunch of new cool gear hidden on the lunar surface. The new expansion includes a few Exotics to chase, including Eriana’s Vow and Deathbringer–but if you’re itching for a new Exotic now, Xur has you covered. The Agent of the Nine is back in the solar system and his inventory has changed, making him worth a visit. The end of the second year of Destiny 2 means that Xur’s pool of Exotics now includes the non-raid weapons and armor that were available throughout the Annual Pass seasons. If you missed anything from Black Armory, Season of the Drifter, or Season of Opulence, Xur can now provide. Here’s where to find him and what he’s offering. Where Is Xur? Head to Nessus to find Xur waiting for you on Calus’s barge. Spawn in at the Watcher’s Grave transmat point and head north, then climb aboard the ship to find Xur hanging out on its left edge. What Is Xur Selling? Despite it being his first visit of Shadowkeep, Xur isn’t offering much that will be too exciting to existing players. For his weapon, you can snag Wardcliff Coil, an Exotic rocket launcher that remains a Crucible favorite. What’s probably more of note is the fact that Xur’s Fated Engram, which gives you one Exotic you don’t already have per week, now includes more possibilities. Xur’s inventory has been expanded to include all the random Year Two Exotic drops from the Annual Pass, which means Exotic armor from the Season of Opulence is now available from the expensive engram. If you’re a PC or Xbox One player taking advantage of Cross-Save, you can now potentially get Wavesplitter from the Fated Engram. Xur also carries the Five of Swords challenge card that lets you add modifiers to standard Nightfall Strikes, and if you’re looking to work through Annual Pass content from Year Two, you can also get an Invitation of the Nine bounty from him. Xur Item Lineup (October 4-8) The Wardcliff Coil (Exotic Pulse Rifle) — 29 Legendary Shards ACD/0 Feedback Fence (Exotic Titan Gauntlets) — 23 Legendary Shards Nezarec’s Sin (Exotic Warlock Helmet) — 23 Legendary Shards The Sixth Coyote (Exotic Hunter Chest Armor) — 23 Legendary Shards The Wardcliff Coil The cool thing about The Wardcliff Coil is you barely have to aim it. The rocket launcher fires a volley of rockets, which is great for clearing lots of enemies at once, or for a near-guaranteed smackdown on an opposing Guardian in the Crucible. It also automatically reloads when you pick up ammo for more constant destruction. ACD/0 Feedback Fence Titans can grab the ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets, which are very useful if you’re a fighter who favors melee. The gauntlets build up energy as you make melee kills and releases it when you’re hit by a melee attack, resulting in a big explosion around your body. It bumps your ability recharge rate every time you get a Void damage kill, which can create a strong feedback loop when coupled with Void weapons. Pair it with a melee-centric build to recharge your melee fast with Gambler’s Dodge, or with slow-reloading guns and the instant reloads of Marksman’s Dodge.
