21 Jun eSport Natus Vincere to host junior boot camp with title partner Kyivstar June 21, 2019 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Ukrainian esports organisation Natus Vincere has announced a boot camp with telecommunications company Kyivstar acting as the title partner. The boot camp, titled NAVI Esports Camp, will see 10 aspiring Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region come together to hone their skills. Photo credit: ESL Lasting for over two months, the boot camp will include daily routines of physical training and in-game practice – with the best players potentially being signed by the organisation at its conclusion. The participants have been selected by junior coach Amiran “Ami” Rekhviashvili and recently-appointed Esports Director, Andrey “B1ad3” Gorodenskiy. Yevhen Zolotarov, CEO of Natus Vincere commented on the boot camp: “I want to thank our partners for participating in such an important project: both for NAVI and for the esports ecosystem as a whole. Together we are doing a great job, giving young talents a chance and possibilities for their further development as players and as individuals. “I am very proud of the NAVI employees who managed to realize all our ideas. I am thankful to those partners who provided their support and helped with the project. It is an amazing experience! I see the goal – don’t see obstacles!” Kyivstar, as part of its deal with Natus Vincere, will provide communications and data services” to help run the initiative. The setups for the players utilise OMEN by HP computers, HyperX peripherals, DXRacer‘s gaming chairs, and Florpad mats. Samsung monitors will also be used throughout the project. Esports Insider says: This is an interesting concept, giving mostly-unknown junior players a glimpse into professional play. The best part, in our eyes, is the end opportunity of being signed by the organisation; let’s just hope the chosen players still want to play professionally at the end of the boot camp!
