04 Mar eSport Acer extends ESL partnership for Intel Extreme Masters March 4, 2019 Posted by GataGames Leave a comment Acer has extended its partnership with ESL, making it the exclusive PC partner of Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) events for the next three years. The Taiwanese technology company will be the official global partner for each of the four annual IEM events through seasons 14, 15, and 16. Acer is a terrific example of a world class brand which has made its mark in esports and has become an integral part of IEM events.” With Acer acting as IEM’s exclusive PC partner, its gaming brand Predator will be “fully integrated in all aspects” of the upcoming events, including Predator monitors being utilised at the tournaments with Acer laptops being stationed on analyst desks. Vincent Lin, AVP of Global Product Marketing and Planning at Acer also commented: “Aligned with our mission to provide best-in-class gaming hardware, we are proud to join forces with ESL as the hardware engine for such a prestigious esports event. Acer’s arsenal of gaming notebooks and desktops featuring the latest innovations such as advanced graphics and cutting edge thermal technologies make a whole new realm of gaming experiences possible for esports.” Other partners of ESL’s IEM circuit include Intel, paysafecard, MTN DEW AMP Game Fuel, and Betway. IEM Katowice 2019 is currently underway, with the final eight teams battling it out to become CS:GO Major champions. Esports Insider says: Acer Predator first partnered with IEM in 2016 but that wasn’t as hands on as this new, extended deal.
