Side-Scrolling Auto Battler Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot Is Now Out on Android

Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot is a new side-scrolling auto battler on Android. It also launched on PC, Nintendo Switch, and iOS. The game is published by Sidekick Publishing on mobile. It’s a bit like Obsidian Knight RPG, which has roguelike elements.

Gather a bunch of Dwarves for Glory, Death and Loot

You are in charge of a growing band of dwarves who handle the fighting on their own once battle begins. Every dwarf comes with their own class, stats and abilities. And each run revolves around assembling and managing a squad of up to ten dwarves. They come from familiar fantasy roles like tanks, assassins, healers and mages.

Once combat starts, there’s no direct control in Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot. The dwarves advance, clash or fire from range automatically, often dictated by their speed stat. Meanwhile, weapons, armour and accessories drop after encounters.

After combat, every dwarf gains experience, and levelling up increases their main stat. Systems like the Tavern and beer help smooth that transition. You also earn gems along the way, which you can invest into universal or class-specific skill upgrades.

Although termed as having a roguelike structure, there’s no meta progression that carries raw power directly from one run to the next in the traditional sense. But there are unlocks, new options at the forge or tavern, artefacts to distribute among the tribe, and systems that reward repeated attempts.

You can toggle the permadeath on or off, yet the core rule remains that if no dwarf survives a round, the run ends. On that note, catch a glimpse of Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot below. Or directly grab the game from the Google Play Store. It costs $4.99 on mobile.
